TONGUE-tied Lukas Jutkiewicz has some work to do if he is to establish a striking partnership with Andy Johnson at Everton.

While the Town youngster is preparing for Sunday's promotion clash at Lincoln City, Johnson is in Tel Aviv ahead of England's Euro 2008 qualifier with Israel.

The pair have had a chance to talk although it seems that Johnson was the one doing most of the talking.

Jutkiewicz, who was hugely impressed with the facilities on offer at the Premiership side, said: "I met him when I went up there and he was really friendly.

"He wanted to know everything about what I was doing and when I'd be coming up.

"I was just trying to put sentences together because I was obviously really in awe of him."

Jutkiewicz will be part of the first team set up when he reports for pre-season training at Goodison and David Moyes has made it clear that the striker has the chance to make an impression.

The youngster, whose move could net Town a substantial sum over a period of time, said: "It's up to each individual player how they adapt to going up there and playing with better players.

"Some players it will help them, some it may take a while to adapt.

"If I adapt well they won't hesitate to throw me in they said."
