I can fully sympathise with Chris Smith (Outages have led to outrage', Echo, March 26), but at least he has got broadband, even if unreliably.
We here at Charlton Down are still waiting. The Echo of November 1 last carried an article wherein BT were trumpeting the fact that we could all sign up with our ISPs around Christmas time.
My latest missive from BT last Sunday stated maybe in three months' time. Silly me, perhaps they meant next Christmas.
