A Barnet teenager is facing years in prison after he admitted killing a man in a pub garden.
James Cuthbert, 18, of Woodlands, Leacroft Road, repeatedly hit David Corroyer in the garden of the Albion pub, in Union Street, Barnet, at around pub closing time on July 24 last year.
Mr Corroyer, 29, died from two blows to the head.
On Monday, at the Old Bailey, Cuthbert admitted manslaughter. Members of Mr Corroyer's family - including his mother, who travelled from Australia - were in court to see Cuthbert make his plea.
One of the victim's family members hissed bastard' at Cuthbert as he was led back to the cells.
No date has been set for the sentencing, but it is expected to be in around three weeks' time, after reports have been prepared.
