Wootton Bassett bid to end their derby hoodoo at home to Cricklade in Division One West.

The two sides are locked together in mid-table, but Paul Burke's men have failed to beat their local rivals since Cricklade's promotion from the Wilts League.

The Bassett boss has plenty of selection dilemmas ahead of the game.

The likes of Matty Bennett, Stu Helmsley and Steve Shaw are available again after missing the battling cup defeat against Carterton on Saturday, while there are question marks over Steve Yeardley and Paul Crabtree who both ran half marathons on Sunday.

Burke said: "For 43 minutes on Saturday we played some really good football so it's a case of whether I choose to bring back the players who didn't play.

"We didn't beat Cricklade any time last season - we drew at their place and lost at ours.

"Derby games have been our weakness in the past. As the top local team in the division teams are out to beat you - Malmesbury are finding that out this year.

"At the moment we're seen as having a disappointing season but if we win our three games in hand we're a point ahead of Malmesbury, and we're capable of doing that."

Cricklade's form is mixed, having followed up their fine recent win over Malmesbury by losing against Easington.
