JEWELLERY dealers and collectors have been asked to keep an eye out for stolen property.
The warning comes after items valued at £4,200 were taken from an address in Canterbury Road, Ronkswood, Worcester, overnight on Saturday, March 17.
The stolen items are: a plain yellow metal bracelet, valued at £2,000; a set of diamond ear-rings, necklace and ring - £1,200; a necklace-chain - £450; a yellow metal bracelet - £200; a sapphire ring - £150; two yellow rings - £100; a set of yellow metal ear-rings - £100.
A red child's mountain bike - valued at £130 - was also taken.
A police spokesman said: "There is a strong possibility that all of the stolen items will be offered for sale at some time and we would warn dealers and collectors to be wary of what they are offered and extremely careful about what they buy."
If anyone is suspicious about items for sale - or if they have any information about the theft itself - they are urged to call police on 08457 444 888, quoting 416S/180307.
Information can also be given anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
