WORCESTERSHIRE WILDLIFE TRUST - Twenty two members joined Rosemary Hatton on a Spring ramble around Trimpley on March11.

The group's next walk is on Sunday, April 15 when local naturalist and author Gordon Forrest leads a walk from Longmore Farm, Chaddesley Corbett.

Meet at 10am at the farm where Dobes Lane and Fox Lane join south of the A448 (SO 885727). New members welcome.

Anyone wishing to go on the annual coach trip on May 5 to Brandon Marsh and Ryton Organic Gardens near Coventry, are asked to book as soon as possible and not later than April 16.

BRITISH SUGARCRAFT GUILD - The Wyre Forest branch will be holding their monthly meeting at Stourport Community Centre, Memorial Park, Lickhill Road, on Thursday, April 12 at 7.30pm.

The AGM will be followed by a demonstration by a group member.

Visitors are welcome to attend meetings, which are held on the second Thursday of every month when a range of sugarcraft skills, from covering a cake to hand-crafted flowers are demonstrated. Help and advice is on hand for beginners and a supply of hints and tips for the advanced.

Refreshments are served at the end of meetings.
