A MOTORCYCLIST and his pillion passenger who were killed after their bike was involved in a collision at Thirlmere have been named.
John Rogerson, 40, and Jacqueline Arthur, 44, both from Workington, died on Sunday (April 1) when their bike collided with a Toyota pick-up driven by a local man, who was uninjured.
The accident happened on the A591, near to the Kings Head Inn at Thirlmere.
An inquest into the victim's deaths was opened and adjourned by West Cumbria coroner John Taylor yesterday (Tuesday).
