A DOG owner from Tiverton Square allegedly lets his pets foul on a grass verge and makes no effort to clean up the mess, Penketh Parish Council has heard.
Chairman Frank Tower read out an anonymous letter from a resident making the accusation at the recent council meeting.
The letter said the man, from 21 Tiverton Square, lets his two large dogs do their business and never stops to pick it up'.
The letter said: "Children play around it and I am worried about diseases. Also it's a crime in itself."
The council agreed to send a copy of the letter to the borough council's environmental health department.
