A SUPER swimmer has proved she can go for miles.
Lilly Thompson, of Ellesmere Road, Stockton Heath, is flying high after swimming not one but two miles for the Marie Curie swimathon.
The eight-year-old pupil at Broomfields Junior School hoped to swim four lengths more than the required 60 for the charity event on March 24 but ended up doing 128 lengths.
So far she has raised £200 for the cancer charity.
Her mum Jenni Thompson said: "We are so proud of Lilly she did fantastically. We would also like to thank all the people who sponsored her."
