Cardigan's women - and maybe some of its men - are in for the time of their lives this weekend when Dirty Dancing: 20th anniversary edition (12A) comes to Theatr Mwldan.
This toe-tapping tale of star-crossed lovers stars Jennifer Grey as Baby, a wide-eyed idealist intent on changing the world, and Patrick Swayze as the snake-hipped Johnny, a rebellious dance teacher. Together they must overcome prejudice, mistrust and a gruelling dance routine to prove their love to those around them.
Digitally re-mastered, with a fantastic 60s soundtrack and energetic performances, the film's easy charm, infectious music and brilliant choreography should win over new fans as well as old.
