GYM and dance display: Congratulations to students from Brighton Hill Community College, who recently entertained family and friends with an evening of dance, trampolining and gymnastics.

There were performances from competition winners in all three disciplines, and the dances were choreographed by the students themselves.

The evening ended with a stunning mix of hip-hop and ballet, with Year 11 girls dancing a hip-hop routine while a solo ballet dancer performed a pointe routine among them.

The solo dancer was Sophie Holt, one of many perform-ers from Hatch Warren and Beggarwood.

BE SPECIAL: Following on from the above, an issue highlighted at the previous meeting was the need for an increased and visible police presence in the area.

One way to achieve this would be to recruit more special constables.

If you feel that you could contribute to the local community in this way, Hampshire Constabulary would like to hear from you.

EASTER fun: St Mark's Primary School's Easter egg hunt takes place at the school on Saturday, March 24. Tickets must be bought in advance from the school office.
