Police have closed Church Road, Shortlanesend, Truro following a serious road traffic collision.
The incident happened at about 9.45 am on Tuesday February 272007 when a Vauxhall Cavalier was in collision with an elderly woman pedestrian outside the Post Office.
She has been taken to Royal Cornwall Hospital by land ambulance whilst collision investigators examine the scene.
The driver of the car, a 22 year old man from Newquay, is not thought to be injured.
