Further to Councillor Evans' letter (February 8) voicing his concerns that Kennet District Council may be abolished.
I am of the opinion that any district council that can spend in excess of £600,000 on a toilet in Devizes should be abolished at the very earliest opportunity. I would not, however, be very confident that the county council would spend our council tax any more prudently than is being done now.
