New Trolley Bins An Extra Street Hazard

Do we need these bins on our pavements? Our pavements today have enough rubbish and these will add to it, making it difficult for pedestrians to use. We have poor cleaning services in the borough and no-one seems to care how long these bins will remain full with rubbish.

The old style black/green bins are easy to keep clean. They are light in weight and suitable for the job. These trolley bins are awful-looking monsters that will destroy the appearance of our streets.

Croydon was an example to other boroughs, but not now! We have broken glass and litter lying on the pavements for days; this can be harmful to children, the elderly and the blind. Empty beer cans and bottles are dumped on our streets these days - this should not be allowed.

Croydon Council needs to spend the taxpayers' money in the right direction.

To avoid air pollution, a penalty for people dropping litter on our streets should be enforced. We need a cleaner environment with more dedicated environment staff. Not having more health and safety hazards from trolley bins.
