Mrs Queenie Lewingdon Hamilton Mrs Queenie L. Hamilton, Lord Mayor of Oxford 1990-91, passed away quietly at home in Headington on Remembrance Sunday, 13 November 2016. Predeceased by her husband, John (d. 1999) (Lord Mayor of Oxford 1979-80) and her son, John Mackay Hamilton (d. 2010); survived by her daughters, Elizabeth and Catherine, and grandchildren, Sam, Patrick and Georgina. Funeral Thursday 8 December, 12 noon, at St Peter's Church, Upper Wolvercote. All welcome. No flowers: donations to Oxford Deaf/Hard of Hearing Centre 01905 746301.
