SHAUN Smith’s unbeaten 106 helped Dinton 2nd thrash bottom club Bicester & North Oxford by eight wickets.

He was joined by Aqib Khan (86no) in a match-winning partnership as Dinton reached 207-2 in only 41 overs.

Faisal Ali took 6-89 and Ryan Moore hit 41 in Bicester’s 203.

Mark Skelton took 5-46 and hit 35 invaluable runs in Horspath 2nd’s home win over title rivals Cublington.

Daniel Catt scored 68 in the visitors’ 194 all out, but Matt O’Connor (51) and then Kit Cutter (55no) helped Horspath to 198-6 and top spot.

Frankie Crouch (81) was Oxford Downs 2nd’s hero in their six-wicket home win over Bledlow Ridge.

His efforts meant Downs won with eight overs to spare.

Ridge were indebted to Martin Middleton (75) as they struggled to 182-9 against Steve Roberts (4-70) and Jak Soppett (3-36).

Sandford St Martin won their derby clash with Banbury 3rd by 16 runs.

Martin Anson (43) and Richard Murray (31) led Sandford to 146, despite under 15 Bradley Taylor taking 4-28.

Murray (3-41) and Jim Howe (3-3) shone as Banbury were dismissed for 130.

Paul Hemming’s 32 was the only highlight in Shipton-under-Wychwood 2nd’s seven-wicket defeat at home to Long Marston.

James Beesley (4-41) and Pete Toovey (4-48) starred as Shipton fell for 155, then Beesley hit 54 in their 157-3 from 27 overs.
